Meet and network with Chamber members and community leaders at networking breakfasts, mixers, and special events. We have three opportunities for networking every month at a free or minimal cost.

• Business Mixers: These take place the second Wednesday of every month from 5-7pm. This is your opportunity to meet with other local business owners and get the word about your business out. This has a cost of $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
• Coffee & Conversation: If big networking events are not your thing, then Coffee & Conversation is for you! This small group networking setting allows members to make meaningful connections over a cup of coffee. These take place the third Wednesday of every month at Cat & Craft Cafe from 8:30-9:30am.
• Business Bites: This event is for all of you foodies! This event is hosted every fourth Wednesday of the month from 12-1pm at a local restaurant. This is an opportunity for members to meet and mingle while enjoying some delicious food from a local restaurant.

We refer only our members when people call or visit the Chamber. Only members may purchase our membership mailing list and advertise in the Vista Magazine and e-mail newsletters, business directory, website, and podcast. The Vista Chamber also has a significant following on social media pages, when tagging us on your posts we're able to share these to our followers.

In the past year the public searched out directory 251,316 unique times, this is over two times the population of Vista! They can search by name, category, alphabetical, or other.

We host the beloved Vista Strawberry Festival on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend marking the start of the Summer in Vista. This event had its 13th edition in 2024 with record crowds of 100,000 people and more than 450 vendors. The event also has a 5K and kids runs, 3 stages with live music, contests including the popular pie eating contest, beer garden filled with local brewers, and so much more! Another of our crowd favorite events is the Vista Christmas Parade. For over 65 years the Vista Chamber has put together this event to celebrate the start of the holiday season in Vista. This event attracts over 10,000 people to our downtown to see the creativity groups put into their floats. Members and community organizations are invited to participate.

Every member is listed in our online Business Directory by business name, category, and contact person. Making sure to keep your business profile up to date is extremely important to ensure that you're maximizing your benefits. A complete business profile can feature business logo, address, images, videos, business descriptions, highlights, events, and more. Having a complete profile also increases your SEO on platforms like Google, rising you to the top of searches over competitors.

We post your job openings and coupons on our website at no charge. Our Job Listings page last year reached 22,000 views. This is 22,000 people in our community searching to work for local companies. Don't miss out on the opportunity to find local talent with this free tool for members.

Your coupons can be posted as discounts for the community or just for other chamber members. This gives you another opportunity to reach new customers/clients.

We are the "Voice of Vista Business" at City Hall, the State Capital, or wherever we are needed. Members can meet public officials at our Government Affairs Committee and other events like our State of the Community Luncheon in January and Meet the Leaders dinner in the Spring.

At the State of the Community Luncheon we hear updates from our City of Vista Mayor, Vista Chamber Board Chair, and other local leaders. Past years speakers include VUSD Superintendent Dr. Matt Doyle, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps CEO Mike Bronner, and CSUSM Provost Dr. Carl Kemnitz. In attendance are also councilmembers, state and federal representatives, and local leaders from large organizations.

At the Meet the Leaders dinner you get the opportunity to hear from the elected officials representing Vista in the federal, state, county, and city levels. You can also meet with other local leaders.

Meet and interact with business and civic leaders by participating in our special events and committees ranging from technology to education. 

You are also able to share your special events in our community calendar. Last year our community calendar reached 103,000 views, that's like if everyone in Vista viewed our calendar at least once. All events are also shared on our weekly newsletter to reach a broader audience.

Our knowledgeable office staff can provide you with information and referrals to help grow your business, including free business counseling, informative speakers, and more.

If we don't have the information you're looking for, we also have connections to other local entities like the Small Business Development Center that can provide resources. 

The Chamber will help you organize a ribbon cutting if you are a new business, new owner, if your business has moved, or you're celebrating a special anniversary or remodel.

Yes, the Chamber is a business organization, but we also like to have fun! You will, too - at our mixers, Christmas Parade, Strawberry Festival, special events, and just about everything we do. We always promote at the Vista Chamber the importance of making meaningful and long-lasting relationships.
