My name is Debbie Medrano and my company is San Diego Balloons and More.
Tell us more about your business.
We're a balloon decorating service and balloon bouquet delivery. We work seven days a week, bringing joy to many people.
What inspired you to become a business owner?
After the mortgage business was failing, I was looking for another business endeavor to get into. My parents had a balloon decorating business 100-miles away and it was a good time based on the age of my kids to start this business. We've been around for 16 years now.
What advice would you give to other women entrepreneurs?
I'm the most proud of running my business under the philosophy of Mike Michalowicz who wrote the book 'Profit First' and I think that's what's helped our business be successful.
